In the past months, the world seemingly came to a halt, occasioned by COVID-19 pandemic. The disruptions are unprecedented, affecting the economies, industries, governance, and more compelling, the way we conduct our personal and communal lives. Social distancing and shut-down measures used for managing COVID-19 transmissions prompt the use of ICTs in ways we could only imagine, particularly in developing countries such as Nigeria with limited infrastructures. Lives have literarily moved online with activities like e-Party, e-Church, e-Work, e-Conference, coming to fore, reinforcing conventional e-learning, e-governance, e-health, e-Agriculture and e-Commerce concepts we have struggled with - The e-Life is the new-normal. Understanding how we could align ourselves to this new reality is important. Therefore, In this two-day webinar titled “Beyond COVID-19: Adapting to the new normal”, LAUTECH, Open and Distance Learning Centre will facilitate discussions that reflect how the new-normal affect stakeholders in higher institutions of learnings, this includes, but not limited to students, teachers, policy-makers, administrators, and employers of labour.
